Voodoo Salt

Kosher salt, paprika, jalapeño, garlic, basil. A finishing salt with backbone. The heat builds behind the salt and the basil rounds it out.

Finish chicken, pork, chips, fried eggs. Use it at the table.

As a finishing salt

A finishing salt goes on after the cooking is done, so it sits on the surface where you can taste it. Pinch it from a height over the plate. A little on a fried egg does more than a lot in the pan.

It also goes into a compound butter and onto a steak sandwich with beetroot.
