Second of the three butters and the sweetest of the family. Hot Honey Drizzle whipped through soft butter with flaky salt until it turns pale and glossy. It melts over pancakes, cornbread, roast pumpkin, grilled peaches, and it disappears faster than you budgeted for. Ten minutes of work, weeks of dividends.
10 mins + chilling. Makes 1 log.
Ingredients
- 250g unsalted butter, softened
- 2 dessertspoons Plateit Hot Honey Drizzle
- ½ tsp flaky salt
Method
- Beat the butter with electric beaters until properly pale and fluffy, 3 to 4 mins. Do not shortcut this.
- Stream in 2 dessertspoons of Plateit Hot Honey Drizzle while beating.
- Fold through the salt.
- Roll into a log in baking paper, or pack into a jar if you have no patience for logs.
- Chill 2 hours. Serve in coins on anything warm enough to melt it. Which is everything.
Swap it: Plateit Truffle'd Hot Honey Drizzle instead, and it belongs on a steak more than on a pancake.
