The sprouts that convert people. Roasted till the leaves char and go crisp, then hot honey pulled over so the bitterness meets sweet and heat. The side that disappears before the mains land.

Ingredients
- 500g Brussels sprouts
- 2 dessertspoons Plateit Hot Honey Drizzle
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Flaky salt, generous
- ½ lemon
Method
- Halve the sprouts, toss in oil and salt.
- Roast cut-side down at 220°C for 20 to 25 mins until charred and crisp.
- Drizzle hot honey over while hot.
- Squeeze lemon, toss, serve.
Tip: Cut-side down and don't crowd the tray. Steam is the enemy of a crisp sprout.
